Sandy, I just follow the pattern, as I have said before, I am useless at doing something off my own bat, gotta have the pattern, recipe, instruction book, etc etc I wasn't too sure how the colours would turn out, but I think they are ok.
Hi Cheryl. It's a beautiful quilt, no doubt about that. There will be no stopping you now. Later on as you gather confidence, you can put your own stamp on patterns, making them bigger, smaller, combining them, etc. Onward and upward. TrishJ
Welcome to my World I didn't say it was sensible, but then who defines sensible? And I didn't say it was tidy, but by whose standards? But it is very loving and at my age, that's all that counts!
Living and loving a very contented life, which has taken me a long time to get to. A wide and winding road with lots of potholes, bumps and some very steep curves got me to a very nice camping spot in my life. Slowing down on work commitments to allow me more time on my patchwork and quilting and other crafts.
